Spektre Map

For your own reference,
figured I'd give y'all a map of the town.
Forgive the sloppiness.
Not many live here, let alone a good map-maker.

To make it easy on ya,
I'll let ya know where everything is and who owns it.

Up top we have the ol' Power Plant.
Used to be owned by the town.
S' posed to be owned by the town.
But since the planet started... rejecting most technology,
the Plant's been pretty useless...
'Cept to the lawless that reside in it.

Down in the SouthWesternmost corner ya got the Water Reserve and Sirius Lake,
one of the only on the entire planet's surface,
and our only source of hydration.
Treat it well...
or I'll shoot ya.

The townsfolk live in the houses surrounding the main strip.
They die in the main strip.
They're buried at the Eastern end of it where the road splits.
Them roads lead off,
one to one landing dock,
the other to another.
Both docks are useless.
Likely covered in dirt by now.
No point goin' out there unless you wanna die alone and ne'er be found.

The rest is pretty self-explanatory.
But just so ya know,
here's a list of the businesses and their owners:
- Blue Moon Saloon (owned by Joanna) is adjacent to Juliette's Leisure House, which I'm sure will profit from ya'll bein' here... _{unfortunately}.
- The Smithing and Armory shop is owned by Jeb. I'm sure he'll treat ya good if ya're nice to 'im. If not, well then count yarself at a loss of a good weapon-maker and repairer.
- You've all met Jim, our Craftsman/Carpenter, already. () He can help ya with technical questions. Dun worry. Ya can trust 'im. I've known 'im longer'an anyone else here.
- For your lodging ya can find Jacob and Jordyn, the kind folk that own the Inn and Restaurant. They've also got a nice Ice Cream Parlor, which would be ideal for the kiddies... if there were many around.
- Johnson the Grocer can help ya find whatever dry goods or market-stuffs ya need.
- Jin's our local "Pharmacist" of sorts. Though he does sell normal prescription drugs, he's got some strange potions he claims will work miracles on any wound. In the very likely case that ya get injured or worn low, see him.
- Jazelle is located in the Medical Office right next to the Pharmacy. Don't let her beauty mislead ya. She's the best doctor in these parts of the galaxy, and she's one of our oldest residents.
- Pastor Jebediah runs the Chapel. He'll be the one giving ya your last rights and praying over your cold dead body.
- By the graveyard at the East end of town you'll find Jackson in his Funeral Parlor. You'll need to give him your dimensions so he can make ya a good sturdy coffin.
- Judge Jameson runs the Courthouse. However, that don't mean he's a righteous man. Steer clear of his bad side. He's found a lot favor with Big Bug.
- If ya find yer hair's gettin too long for this dreadful heat, ya can get it cut cheap at Joe's Barber Shop and Salon. He's tried to get me to come in for a snip, but I can't afford to find a blade at my neck, no matter who's hand it's in.
- Miss June is our local Librarian. I keep tellin her she shoulda left when she had the chance- that this town ain't the proper place for someone like her- but she just keeps sayin' them books are worth more than her life. As if anyone will consider readin when she's dead.
- The Post Office, run by Jericho, is the only place here to get out a call to anyone off this God-forsaken planet. It's got a high-frequency transmitter that can relay a message to the nearest satellite. Just hope that by the time it gets to someone you'll still be alive.
- If'n ya got any animals, Jada's the one to see. She'll keep 'em safe in her Stable, and they'll have plenty of space to run on her Ranch. It's a surprise that she's got so much territory in this place- the most of anyone here. She's the only child of one of the original settlers, and though young, she's strong-bodied and strong-willed. Whether it's her youth that's allowed Big Bug's eye to pass her over, or her beauty, I haven't the foggiest. Still, Jada's sweet and kind, and she'll take care of any poor creature that comes staggerin' into her barn.
- Right next to the Water Reserve ya'll should see the Town Hall, or the "Welcome Center" as it was originally called before all the snike* went down in Spektre. You'll note that though the Mayor "works" at Town Hall, he lives on the other side of town. Big Bug has 'im scared right in under his thumb so he tries to live where he'll have plenty o' time to run to me fer help. He deserves whatever he gets, I say.
- As fer me, ya'll can find me at the Sheriff's Station, right behind the Chapel. Only call if'n ya need me tho. I dun wanna trouble myself with the likes of any of ya. If ya do find yerself in my Office, ya talk with Elliot (, aka *socke-scheusal) first. Ya can just call him mah "Mediator," seein' as he's got a lot in common with ya.

Well that's about it.
Take a copy of this map if ya find yerself needin' it.
And dun bother me no more.
